Call for nominations, 2024 Biomedicine Diversity Award

Do you know someone who has contributed in an extraordinary manner to diversity at the Department of Biomedicine? You can now nominate this person to the Biomedicine Diversity Award.

Nomination Guidelines

The nominee should be a role model to promote diversity and inclusion by criteria such as, but not limited to:

  • Facilitating/promoting inclusion across all professions at the department 
  • Allowing flexible working hours for parents and having a positive mindset about parental leave for both genders
  • Having the courage to express inclusive attitudes publicly
  • Having a mindset that shows an openness towards different cultures
  • Supporting initiatives to ensure well-being of students and colleagues
  • Distributing responsibilities across, among others, genders and age
  • Recruiting students/employees based on advertisements that are carefully worded to be inclusive

Nominations can originate from any employee or student based at the Department of Biomedicine. Please fill in the nomination form.

Deadline

Nominations must be submitted no later than May 31, 2024

Selection Process

The recipient will be selected by the Diversity Award evaluation committee based on his/her commitment to diversity.

Presentation of Award

The award along with 10.000 DKK to the research group/administrative unit to be used for a well-being activity will be presented at the Department Day, Friday, June 21, 2024, location TBA.
