Title: Targeting metabolic dependencies in pancreatic cancer

Abstact:
Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related death in Europe, and it has the lowest survival rate of all cancers. This is in part due to a lack of effective treatments and development of drug resistance. Pancreatic tumors present an altered metabolism that supports their growth and survival. Our laboratory aims to define new metabolic adaptations in pancreatic tumors to develop new therapeutic strategies that can prevent tumor growth alone or in combination with currently available therapies.
